At our organisation we use OMA heavily and we recently purchased SharePoint
Portal Server

When the default website was extended with SharePoint and all the
directories were excluded from being managed by SharePoint it caused Outlook
Mobile Access along with all other .net framework based web applications to
fail.

It appears to have changed some security settings.

I know the solution is probably simple but I cannot find an answer after
having searched the knowledge base etc.

Please can someone help
Thanks
Robin

SPS on your Exchange box is a no.
You can have WSS, but not SPS.
Even with WSS you have to go in and exclude all the Exchange vdir's
from the search path.

Any idea how I fix it now please?
I have already excluded the directories in SharePoint

Could I add a new virtual server and import all the previous directories
like OMA into it, set it at port 80 and leave SharePoint on the other virtual
server and move it to another port and set up a forwarding page?

Thanks for the help
Robin

It's ok
I have now fixed it by moving everything else accross to a new virtual server
Any idea if there will be any implications later on doing this?
