Exchange 5.5 |
|
|
I recieved an error which eventually caused me to reboot the exchange server
that states: Event ID: 7, "An unexpected error [0x80040115] occurred in
maintenance thread". All of my research points to a failed restore or bad
message. There are no other indications of problems(logs, dumps, etc.). Does
anyone have any experience with this message. There were no restores
occurring at the time of the error, and I'm not sure what qualifies as a bad
message. Please help!

Exchange 5.5 doesn't always deal with messages in the "bad" folder.
What Service Pack are you on currently?
