Hi all

Running Windows 2003 server Exchange Server 2003

As the sysytem is set up at present, I handel all smtp requests to
mail.mydomain.no, how can I set it so that it requires the username and
password to send through the smtp server.

I have fears of becoming the next spam gateway to the world.

Thanks in advance

Of course, a compromised password doesnt prevent an authenticated
relay.

Sure you require it? If you have only mapi clients, simply turn off
authenticated relay completely.
