i have Windows SBS 2003 server SP1 in ITALIAN with Exchange 2003 SP2
I have these ERRORS in APP events every day for many times and then i-ve
problem with SMTP that doesnt send>

Tipo evento: Error
Origine evento: Microsoft Exchange Server
Categoria evento: None
ID evento: 1000
Data: 22/12/2005
Ora: 10:14:19
Utente: N/D
Computer: ANTSRV
Descrizione:
Faulting application inetinfo.exe, version 6.0.3790.1830, stamp 42435bec,
faulting module smtpsvc.dll, version 6.0.3790.1830, stamp 42437465, debug? 0,
fault address 0x00041ddf.

You do not need to uninstall sp2.
This sounds like an smtp problem.
You should raise the smpt logging level to see if there are some additiona
information in the event viewer.

This note show a security update available to this error.

If this does not resolve the issue, are you running some smtp protection
software? (message screener or isa smpt filter by example)

but the article is on SP1, we have exchange SP2 and the update says that the
update is alredy installed....
we have ISA server but without smtp filter
is an idea to uninstall SP2 ?? and leave SP1 with update described in the
article?
