We have multiple SG/DB's and have configure policies so that they each have
certain limits (100 or 250 or 500 MB). To change a user's limits, we move
them to different SG/DB's

Obviously we need to track total number of users in each SG/DB, space
available, etc., but, doing so with Exchange System Manager (via dumping the
list to Excel) is cumbersome and slow.

Is there an MS or third-party tool, cheap, that would give us a quick and
dirty view and count type statistics on this?

There was an automatic Access database on outlookexchange.com a few years
ago. Does loads of stats on email movement by day.
