Exchange TLS Setup |
|
|
I'm setting up my Exchange 2003 server for TLS encryption, I have followed
the KB docs and everything seems setup right, what I need to know is, do I
need to have my DNS zone file pointing to this virtual server, ie, a cname,
"a" record, and a mx record?, this is my first time using TLS on exchange so
I am alittle lost, I have read much but nothing really covers if I need to do
these DNS zone file changes. If anyone knows what I need to do please help.

You'd probably only need the mx record. |
TLS is negotiated during SMTP handshake. (AFAIK)
