Ports or dev work? |

Hi,
I work for a services company and I got to thinking as to whether or not
the following was possbile (first without software on the Exchange server and
secondly, if it was possible at all which I think it should be):
Could I, by contacting an Exchange server through some port have all clients
who connect to that machine/org see new "folders" in their Outlook clients?
I realize this is an odd concept but I think it would be interesting if I
could somehow interact with my client's Exchange boxes and have Outlook
clients who connect to those Exchange boxes respond to commands that I've
somehow given to Exchange (all without having to install any software on the
Exchange box). Okay, more realistically, if I were to actually install
software could this be done with a sync? Better way of doing it? Again, the
goal here is for all users to have a new folder in Outlook that they couldn't
delete (similar to the inbox, deleted items and Junk Email folders that are
already there).
Thanks,
Dan
