Problem with Event ID 9187 |
|
|
Below is copy of event. This Server is in the Exchange Domain Group.
Exchange Standard 2003 SP2 on 2003 SP1 OS. I think it started because I
moved the server to a folder called Member Servers in my AD structure instead
of leaving in Computers folder. Doesn't seem to matter if I stop services
and follow MS instructions, I can not get this error to stop. I also get
authenication error when connecting via Remote Desktop from Domain Controller
but not from Member Servers or XP Pro boxes. Any answers out there. Thanks,
Cindy

Move it back?
Could be that the OU you put the Exch Server into has security on it
that preventing its ability to communicate properly. |

Doesn't have anything to do with Security, old Exchange server and front end
are in the OU. The problem is I moved it to OU after I installed Exchange
unlike front-end server that I moved before Exchange was installed with SP2.
I believe it is an issue caused by SP2 but I'm not an expert. I moved back
and restarted server still getting same event. Anyone else have similar
problem or answer that will correct this event?
Thanks, Cindy
