POP3 virtual server not started |
|
|
Hi,
On my Exchange Server 2003 SP2 server running under Windows Server 2003 SP1,
the Default POP3 Virtual Server is not starting automatically if I restart
the server. If I right-click it and select "Start" it works OK.
The "Microsoft Exchange POP3" service is set at Automatic startup type.
Anything I am missing here ?

Check event log. It is usually caused by a dependency not starting quickly
enough.

There is nothing in the Event Log about it.
It is the "POP3 virtual server" (in ESM) that is not starting, not the
"Microsoft Exchange POP3" service.
