RPC over HTTPS confguration |
|

Hi,
I have difficulties for my Outlook 2003 to be connect via RPC overHTTPS. I
have just setup my exchange servers. I have 1 back-end exchange server and 2
front-end exchange servers on NLBS in the DMZ. The front-end will act as the
proxy server. I have configured my IIS with SSL connections. Able to Access
OWA via HTTPS:. On my external firewall I have enable ports 25,80,& 443 to my
Front-end server and open ports TCP 6001,6002 and 6004 from my front-end to
the back-end server. The back-end server is configured as RPC target server.
I have checked both front-end servers with the registry valid ports are
configured according.
However when I run the outlook 2003, it will prompt me for the user login.
After i login, it prompt that the server is unavailable. unable to connect. I
ran Outlook /rpcdiag, i do not see any connections to my server. When i do a
netstat on both client and front-end server, I see that 443 is being
established and disconnect.
Could someone enlighten me what else do i need to configure in order to have
my RPC over HTTPS working? Thanks in advance
