Outlook 2003 on client's computer doesn't have "RPC over HTT |
|
|
So, we installed Office 2003 on a client PC. The PC is running Windows 2000
Professional. When I went to set it up for RPC over HTTPS, and under the
"Connect" tab, it's missing the box next to "Connect to my Exchange mailbox
using HTTP". I've been to Office Update and got all of the SP2 updates, but
still, no check box.
Is it b/c it's running on Windows 2kPro?
Thanks,
Blake

"Client requirements

So nobody has seen this issue before? It's the SAME Office 2003 that we
install on every computer -- although usually they are WinXP -- this
computer is a Windows 2000 Pro... Is that the issue? RPC over HTTPS
doesn't work on Windows 2000 Pro?

Ha! Figured it was because Windows 2000.
So, how did you find that? I Googled "Outlook 2003 Missing RPC over HTTP"
and never got it. But I didn't add in Win2k though. :-( |
