I have a problem with Exchange Server. The Exchange Services have stopped and
cannot be restarted. It gives an Error 1068, which says dependent services
have not started. I checked dependOnService in the registry. It was already
started. I stopped and restared the service, but it did not solve the
problem. I am still getting the same error message. Any solutions or
suggestions?. We are using Exchange 5.5 With SP 4 and Windows NT 4.5

Can you define "the exchange services"? Which specific services will not
start? Did the password for the Exchange Service Account get changed or is
the service account locked out/disabled?

Thanks for your reply. On further investigation I found that Site Server LDAP
Services cannot initialize and it gives the Error GetLastError()=87: Init
Ldap Extension. Also the Ananymous User Logon gives the error:
GetLastError()=1792 Logon User for Ananymous Users.

Also all the services of Exchange do not start.

Just Wanted to inform that I am now not able to connect to the Exchange
Server and when I try to connect I get the following message

DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM

Anyone who can help me solve this problem
