Short Description of problem:

(Keep in mind this backup has never failed in the past)

Over the course of the last two weeks, our backup of 3 servers has not
been finishing. Its not failing, its not freeze or lagging any
software, its just sitting there letting time go by..

With the help of Veritas and other sources we determined that its the
Exchange server that its locking up on, we verified this by just
attempting to do a backup from the exchange server both with Veritas,
and NTbackup, same instance, it seems to be stuck on what would be
equivalent to "loading media". FYI we are doing a backup to disk,
instead of tape. My questions are:

First: has anyone every come across this problem in the past if so...
HELP!!!! ?
Second: is there a way to check the integrity of the exchange server
for corruption or other problems the may cause the backup to not
finish.
