I am having sever problems with trying to re-install exchange 20003. This was my first attempt at an install and it has gone horribly wrong. I installed it and many thigns were not working correctly so I just decided to re-install it. So I uninstalled it and then when I tried to re-install it it gave me errors saying that I had to be a "Exchange full administrator" to run forestprep or install exchange. It says to delegate an exchange full administrator with the delegation wizard. However exchange is uninstalled so it wont work. I also tried setup.exe /removeorg and that did not work either. Is there anyway to undo forestprep so that exchagne setup doesnt know it has been run already, so It will let me install it? Any ideas?

Brent

I had to set up an exchange 2000 on a Win2K3 server. I had to run Netdiag, (on exchange disc under the I386 directory) on ALL servers (in my case 3). So basically some exchange components have to be ran on all my servers. But the finalization of exchange, Forestprep, services is done on the one.
This really helped me out. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=482AAFAA-395D-4B11-9CBC-5F857D218CA3&displaylang=en

Hope this helps.
