Hi all

We currently have a mixed mode Exch5.5/2003 Environment which has been in place since 2006. The Exchange 5.5 server removal is now high priority as we are looking to move to Exch2007.

All public folders and Mailboxes were moved off of the Exch5.5 Server long ago, all connectors moved and so it's basically sitting there waiting to be removed. Our problem is in regards to the Config_CA Connection agreements and problems in replication which is causing issues.

We have 24 Admin Groups, some groups are populated with multiple servers, we do not however have corresponding Config_CA agreements in the ADC for Servers in each of the Admin Groups. Currently we have 12 Config_CA Agreements. Another admin that has since left the company set this up and also configured Recipient and Public Folder Connetion agreements.

It's my understanding that all Servers that have been selected to run SRS should have a corresponding Config_CA agreement? Also my understanding that you should let Exchange do this automatically?

What is best practice in regards to ADC Tools? Should you Run ADC tools everytime a new Site is introduced or should Exchange automatically create the associated Config_CA agreements?

Any replies much appreciated,

Thanks.
