Hi all,
Can someone assist me on creating a VSS backup dump of the exchange databases? I am new to use Volume Shadow Copy Service API to backup exchange server databases. Some basic questions I do have now are,
1) How do I inform VSS to backup a particular mailbox database? i.e. where should I give the database name to backup it using VSS? which class, which method?
2) Is there a way to get a list of the exchange databases available in the exchange server using VSS? Any function that could return this list as a vector or map or anyother thing?
3) Does Volume Shadow Copy Service take a copy of *.edb, *.log and *.chk files literally and dump them in a destination location that we specify?
