Delay in queue |

We have exchange 2003 and are expiriencing a delay on incming messages from external sources. I can check the queue and see all the emails there, but they take 10-20 min to leave the queue. Nothing has changed on the server. There are never more than 100 emails in the queue at a time, DNS seems fine. Not sure what else to do.

This is not the issue with your dns, this probably is something to do with your smtp gatway, please confirm if you have setup any email security server in your organization, if yes please check any rule has not been created recently for any incoming emails, also check the disk space pn server and monitor the app and sys event.. and let me know
