Hello everyone
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve just setup a windows 2k3 SBS and everything working fine, however when I connect to OMA via a mobile phone I receive the following error (on a windows phone):

ActiveSync encountered a problem on the server: support code: 0x85010014

Also I’ve used a bit of software called activesync tester and it reveal the following:

Communications:
Doing DNS lookup on Domainname ..... OK (ipaddress)
Testing TCP to Domainname port 443 .. OK
SSL Certificate:
Receiving ................................ OK
Ensuring not Self-Signed ................. OK
Verifying certificate .................... OK
ActiveSync:
Checking for application ................. OK
Checking version ......................... OK (2.0.3274.0)
Checking protocols ....................... OK (1.0,2.0)
User Permissions:
Checking "domain\username" ................ FAIL

Result:
ActiveSync detected, but not correctly configured. [HTTP 500: Forms-based auth enabled?]

Accessing outlook web access with a browser over https works just fine.
Forms-based authentication is not enabled, I’ve googled the hell out of the 0x85010014 error and most don’t seem to apply.

To further compound the problem before I built the production server I’ve created a dev server which is still running and mobile access to this server works fine, I’ve checked the setting on the dev server with the production and the setting seems to match.

Any ideas?

TIA

Chris
