I currently have 2 exchange 2003 servers, there is no replication being done between the two. There are no mail boxes residing on the second exchange server and the second exchange server is added to the routing group members. When I shutdown the secondary exchange server my public folders start to delay and freeze when trying to enter any of the folders. How can I stop this from happening and go back to having 1 exchange server?
