When you install the first Exchange 2003 on an Enchange 5.5 Org, it will set
a new ADC agreement automatically.
But, as I'm never tired of saying, document yourself very well before doing
the migration. There's lots of good stuff on the internet:
"Solution Accelerator for Exchange Consolidation and Migration",

"Upgrading Exchange Server 5.5 to Exchange 2003 in a Medium-Sized
Organization", http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=34703

Exchange
5.5 installed. I plan to create AD 2003 site in that office, which also
includes installing Exchange 2003 server(there exists two way trust
between
AD domain and NT40 domain). I want all mailboxes from Exchange 5.5 to be
moved on that Exchange 2003 server. First I have to put DC in site (GC on
it)
and move all users accounts on AD. Can I move mailboxes to Exchange 2003
without installing ADC in site (for example export from Exch5.5 and import
to
Exch2003)? |
