Exchange doesn't recognize user login |
|
|
I have a client that when they open Outlook, gets asked for a login, password
and domain. They are attached to the network and have full access to the
network resources, etc except for exchange. Nothing has changed that I know
of on the system or network; this just started ahppening. Any ideas?

Try asking them to logoff windows and back on again (if you haven;t already)
the chanes are their NT password may have expired.

I reset the users password and even set it so that it would never expire
(temporarily of course). I had them log-off and then back in and even tried
a reboot. I diabled their network account and re-enabled it, reset their
machine account...All in vain.

Make sure you have the same authentication configured on ESM and IIS on
Exchange and public folder.
How do you access OWA internally , either using the netbios name or fully
qualified name.
Set the authentication on Exchweb to anonymous
