Re: connecting to exchange over the internet |

Granted I don't follow Microsoft future goals as closely as one should, but
Microsoft Exchange 2003 can support POP3/IMAP4/SMTP clients out of the box.
The only thing that one has to remember is that the POP3/IMAP services are
disabled by default because Microsoft is trying to reduce the attack
surface. Microsoft is basically saying that if you want it, you need to
turn it on (which case, the admin normally makes the necessary adjustments
to make sure it is right for their site). IMHO, not a bad move when you
consider that most purchasing Exchange 2003 are going to want to use its
premiere client Outlook 2003.

supposed to be disabled.
What are we supposed to use to connect to exchange with then? I have
several users connecting with Palsm and need to keep them working.
Any help would be greatly appericated.
