OWA does not display messages where subject line ends with a |

front-end, back-end topology
2003 front-end server
2000 and 2003 back-end servers
When a message is recieved with a "." as the last charactor in the subject
line then it cannot be displayed in either the preview pane or when double
clicked inside OWA regardless of what back-end server it connects to.
Q? Is there a misconfiguration I need to correct, a patch, or workaround
other then trying to educate everyone in the organization and who sends to
our organization not to send messages where the subject line ends in "."?
Thanks

That seemed to be the problem, remove urlscan and everything works. I am
downloading URLscan 2.5, is there a config available for a server that runs
OWA?
THANKS
