I have a public folder which I use as a log for changes to computer
equipment. Frequently, I embed bitmap images (screenshots) into folder items.

When I view these items using regular Outlook (2K/2K3) I can see the graphic
just fine, however, when I use OWA (2003) the image is not displayed.

I have tried setting
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeWeb\OWA\DisableAttachments to both 0 and 2 (restarting w3svc) but this doesn't help.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks,

Gary

Thanks for the response Skipster.

When I saw the article, I got really excited, because it looked like it was
what I needed. However, I created the EnableFreeDocs DWORD on my Exchange
server and rebooted it, but unfortunately, I still didn't see the embedded
object.

I don't know if it's any help, but when I do a Show Source on the message,
the code where the embedded object should be looks like:

<P><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Arial" SIZE=2 COLOR="#000000">
<IMG SRC="1_multipart/No%2520AttachName?Security=2"
alt="ole0.bmp"></FONT></SPAN>

Any more suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks,

Gary
