meeting seen in OWA calendar but not in regular Outlook cale |

|
we have a user who's meeting that was scheduled was viewable in the
OWA/webmail calendar but not in the regular Outlook client. it seems to have
disappeared in the Calendar view of the Outlook client. Has anyone
experienced this or know of any resolutions?

Have him log into another workstation & open the mailbox. Is the data there?

i have opened his mailbox on my machine and i am also not able to see it.

And you weren't using his roaming profile, right? And the item is
definitely, positively, showing up in OWA? Sure you're looking at the right
day?
If you make another appt. in OWA for today, and check in Outlook, does it
show up? And vice-versa?

no roaming profile. the appointment still exists and still visible in OWA.
i just found out that the appointment shows up in the Outlook Today portion
(calendar section) but not in the main Calendar view.

Did you try what I suggested, re testing with new appointments made in both
OWA and Outlook?

I still say this points at view settings. Try starting Outlook once from
start | run -
<full path to outlook.exe, including quotes if needed> /cleanviews
This will remove any custom views and reset everything back to defaults.
If this doesn't work, try posting in m.p.outlook with full details.
