I thought by adding the domain/realm to my IIS and Exchange folders that I
could allow my users the step of skipping the entry of our domain when using
OWA. Thus allowing them to only enter their username and password. Well,
this didn't seem to work for me. Can anyone give me more suggestions?

In IIS I selected the domain and realm for Basic Auth. In Exchange, I
manually entered the full domain in the virtual folder for Basic Auth.

You need to specify the domain via the Exchange System Manager and not the
IIS Manager in order to make it work. This is because of the DS2MB process
which you can read more about in below MS KB's:

XCCC: Changes to Virtual Directory Settings Are Not Maintained:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=264941

XGEN: General Information on Directory Service/Metabase Synchronization in
Exchange 2000 Server: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=240105

Henrik, Thanks for the info. I cleared the domain from IIS and verified it
was set in the ESM but I was still getting prompted for the domain. I have
used metaedit in the past but I'm not at all well versed with it. Is there
something in there I should look for to ensure everything is set right? Is
there something I'm not getting or reading into here? Thank you!
