Hi,

I have successfully got RPC over HTTP to work on a single server.
Unfortunately though, it takes ages for the initial connection to succeed.
Over broadband it takes around 3-4 minutes to connect the first time and
strangely the connection status ALWAYS has 3 fails.

Once connected it is nice and quick. Even resuming from a laptop suspend,
Outlook will connect very quickly.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Do other people have a few fails before the successful connection?

Any help appreciated...

I am having the same problem. But, when my firewall is open (for testing)
and I allow all WAN access to my exchange server, the connection in instant.
When I close the firewall (except for https, etc) the connection takes 3-4
minutes also with failed attempts. My additional question is if all I need
to open os port 443, why am I experirncing this behavior?

Thanks!
