Batch configure OWA users |
|
|
Hello all. We currently have OWA set up and working. We do not want all
users to have access to OWA just yet, however by default everyone is turned
on in Active Directory. Is there a VBS script or some other way to run as a
batch so that all users are disabled from OWA until they go through a brief
training session of the do's and don'ts, can's and can'ts of OWA before we
give anyone access to it.
What we want to do is turn everyone off, then turn them on one at a time as
they exit the class or enter the class so they can test it in class.
thanks in advance,
Rich

The easiest way would be to highlight every user in AD Users and Computers
and choose the Exchange Features tab. You can then set all users to DISABLE
for OWA. Then just turn them on one by one.
Or from within Exchange System Manager you can run an Exchange task and
select all mailboxes and turn off OWA access.
Either way is very easy and doesn't require a script to be run.
