2000/2003 SMTP-connector: delivery to different port ?? |
|
|
hi,
i'm wondering if it's possible to change the destination-port
a SMTP-connector delivers mail to a smarthost.
it's nessecary for me becaus my EXCH can't authenticate correctly
at my internet-mail-server. i don't want to turn off AUTH there
because of spammers try to use it as relay.
found a solution called SMTPauth on sourceforge to solve the
AUTH-prob, but need to run it on a port different to 25 .....

Create a new SMTP VS and change the outgoing port on the Delivery tab,
Outbound Connections, then set your connector to use this new SMTP VS.
