For a cluster utilizizing a SAN for shared storage, what is the optimum
storage configuration for the quorum and log drive resources?
Option A : Setup each shared logical drive (LUN) on it's own set of RAID 1
physical disks
Option B : Create a large RAID 0+1 array across 14 disks & 2 SCSI buses,
with LUNs defined for each necessary storage resource.

Would the performance gains from the large mirrored stripe offset IO
contention on the shared physical resources?

Thanks!

This is what I would recommend. I carve out a small LUN of 1 GIG for the
Quorum and 1 GIG for MSDTC.

Overkill for the Quorum.
