SMTP Virtual Server |
|
|
I have an Exchange 2003 Cluster built on Windows 2003 Servers. This cluster
workds on what I will call the 10 subnet. I'm attempting to build a secure
EMAIL tunnel with a client so I added two more NICs into the cluster servers
and assigned them a new subnet that I will call the 172 subnet. I've added a
new Virtual IP address on the 172 address and all seems to be OK.
The only problem is my SMTP Virtual Server will not accept connection
directed at the 172 address. It will only accept them on the 10 address. Do
I need to create a new SMTP Virtual Server? If so, how? I've tried and it
will not allow it.
Or, Do I need to somehow modify my existing SMTP Virtual Server to accept
connection on the new 172 address? I can't figure out how this would work
either.
