Hi,

I am looking for real world feedback on how clustering works with Windows
2003 running Exchange 2003. Our architecture is such that we have approx.
3000 users in HQ site and we need to have 100% uptime. We are looking at
2003, but are leary of Windows clustering. If anyone could provide some
feedback and location to helpful documents, that would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Steve,

Internally at Microsoft we have been able to achieve 99.99% uptime using
Exchange 2003 clusters. You can find details on how we do this at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=0E9B809D-2A7A-4ADF-9FDE-897210A461DB&displaylang=en,
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=63FA9270-563F-4627-A0A0-8A07E02CF9BF&displaylang=en
and
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=5C76219A-4E30-4B51-A963-4A3896C9BB78&displaylang=en.

There are also other great documents on this at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/2003/library/default.mspx
and http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/default.mspx.

Hope this helps.
