Can someone please explain to me what this really means?
My understanding is that SMTP is installed with Exchange
(on each node in the cluster). Where does SMTP come into
play on the shared storage side of things?
Cheers,
Tom

hi tom!

the smtp service will be created as a smtp resource in the exchange cluster
group automatically when you add the exchange system attendent to that
group. and the badmail and queue directory should be on a shared disk which
is part of that cluster-group too.
