Frontend OWA not working |
|
|
We have a new 2k3 A/P Exchange cluster and a single Ex2k3 front end server.
OWA works when connecting to the backend EVS on the cluster, however if I
try to use the front end server only the menu items load. Basically you get
a shell of OWA with no user data include.
Per the documentation I've:
- Created a new http virtual server via the ESM on the BE and modified the
host name to match that of the FE server (I've tried ip address, FQDN, host
name).
- Then added a virtual directory for "Exchange"
- Finally added a http cluster resource to the EVS group, specifying the
http virtual server.
I've done this countless times and It doesn't seem to make any difference.
I still get the same OWA screen.
If I try clicking on "inbox" I get the following error:
Line:90
Character:1
Error: Object Expected
(I applied Hotfix 831464 and SP1 before creating the EVS)
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks in advance,
SM

Okay, I finally figured it out. It was a dumb mistake on my part. I
applied the hotfix and SP1 on the cluster but not on the FE server. Once
installed on the FE server everything worked fine.
