Outlook Security Features Admin Pack |
|
|
I am trying to allow Outlook to run Trusted Code (specifically the Adobe
Acrobat COM stuff) using the Outlook 10 Security Settings public folder
template. Each time I open the template to make changes I get a macro
warning, I click Enable Macros and then I get "To help prevent malicious
code from running, one or more onjects in this form were not loaded. For
more information, contact your admininstrator."
I click OK and the form opens.
I click the Trusted Code tab and click Add and I get the script debugger
"Object doesn't support this property of
method:'Item.GetInspector.ModifiedFormPages(...).ComDlg'
I have registered the comdlg32.ocx and the hashctl.dll on both my
workstation and the exchange server.
I have lowered my macro security settings in Outlook to low.
What am I missing???
Thanks,
-Doug

Is the form published in the correct folder with you as an owner?
Check out http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/admin.htm to make sure you
followed all the steps required.

Yes, I am an owner and I have set everything up according to the same steps.
The form works with the exception of my being able to add trusted code on
the trusted code tab without getting the error. All other setting work
correctly.
what does this mean?

That error indicates that you didn't set up the form correctly or install
the hash control correctly on your development machine.
Please post some of the preceding thread in your posts, it makes it very
hard to follow a thread otherwise.
