What is the resolution to the problem with bogus new mail indicator (blue
#'s) the inbox says new mail, but there is not any ?? Outlook 2002, Exchange
2003 Server.sp1

I've seen this happen with plug-ins moving mail around too quickly for
Outlook to realize the mail has been marked as read. Do you have any
plug-ins or com add-ins (like a spam filter at the Outlook level) working on
these clients?

Hi Mike, our email comes in through pop account from another building in the
state, i believe they are doing spam filtering there, and they are having
problems today, i would assume this is why we are having this issue...
