Global Address List (GAL) |
|
|
Current Setup:
We have two completely separate Windwos 2003 domains, using Exchange 2003 on
each (in its own Exchange organization).
Problem:
We would like to replicate the Exchange 2003 GALs, so that users of either
domain or Exchange organization can view both GALs as a single entity. Now
I've researched some of the tools out there such as SimpleSync that would do
a great job, but with a hefty price. Does Microsoft have a solution for this
situation when using Exchange 2003?
Thanks,
JK

According to the link, IIFP requires a few additional items. The only one
that I DO NOT have is the Enterprise version of Windows 2003. I only have
the Standard version. Is it true that I cannot replicate GALs using IIFP
without the Enterprise version of Windows 2003?

IIFP requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition or Enterprise
Edition as its back-end store and must be installed on a Microsoft Windows
Server 2003, Enterprise Edition, server.
