What do I need to do to create a new email from an email box I have been
given "Send As" rights to appear as if was coming from that email box not
mine? This is what is happening:

User A (me)
User B
Generic Mailbox

User A & B have "Send As" permissions only to "Generic Mailbox". I have now
added "Generic Mailbox" to my MS Outlook 2003. When reading the mail in the
"Generic Mailbox" I can responed or forward and it will look like it came
from "Generic Mailbox". When I create a new email from "Generic Mailbox"
either from User A or User B, it looks like its coming from User A or User B
whoever sent the email not "Generic Mailbox".

What step am I missing or can this not be accomplished?

TIA
VIC

Assuming you have indeed created all the necessary permissions server
side you just need to use Outlook and select New Message. Then select
the OPTIONS drop down (you'll find that particular Options of the
E-mail toolbar not the mail menu options you usually find on Tools)
You will the option to make the From and BCC options visible.

Mark,

Thank you very much for your advice. I have tested successfully and I can
now "Send As" to any mailbox.

Thanks again,

Vic
