I'm planning a migration from a Windows NT 4.0 domain to a Windows 2003
Active Directory domain. What considerations do I need to think of in
terms of my Exchange 5.5 server that is running on Windows NT 4.0? I do
not plan on upgrading the Exchange Server. I plan on replacing the
Exchange 5.5 server with Exchange 2003 running on Windows 2003 after the
Active Directory migration is completed. Thanks

Your considerations are not Exchange related. They're NT4.0 related. Check
out the migration and upgrade docs at http://www.microsoft.com/ad for
information about it.

Hello:

We have Exchange 5.5 SP4 running on Windows 2000 SP4 and upgraded our domain
from NT 4.0 to AD 2003 without incident. Since you have NT 4.0, make sure it
has the latest SP and updates, and same for Exchange. Other than that, I
can't think of any other considerations.
