Underscores |

Hi,
I don't know if I'm in the right newsgroup. If I'm not, please let me know.
I have an Exchange 5.5 system and plan to upgrade to Exchange 2003 in the
next few months. I have several accounts that utilize underscore characters
in their name. Do I need to change there to different characters? Also, I
use underscores before the names of Groups so that I and my user community
see those in one location on the Global Address List. Can anyone suggest to
me how I might be able to still retain the forcing of items like Group lists
to exist in one location on the new GAL?
Thanks in Advance,
Jeff

Did you read http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;841091?
Underscores in the mailbox and group display names should be valid in
Exchange 2003. You can use Address Lists in Exchange 2003 to organize your
users and groups, however, you should still be able to use underscores for
the display name of the groups, so that probably won't be necessary.
Actually, I think there is already a built-in AL for groups, so you might
not even have to mess with that.

Martin
