A) Yes, it's possible. You must join Exchange 2003 to the existing
organization, since you can have only one organization per forest.
B) If the NT domain doesn't belong to the same forest, you can install
Exchange 2003 on a new organization and still be able to move all user
accounts and mailboxes to the AD Forest.
There are some reading I'd like to recommend to you:

| Quote: | In order to upgrade my exchange 5.5 to 2003 I have to place my new
exchange
2003 server into my existing site and transfer over all of the resouces to
the new 2003 server.
Scenario A: Is this possible if the 5.5 server is in a different domain
than
the 2003 but both domains are 2003 AD Domains that are in the same forest?
Scenario B: the 2003 server is in a 2003 AD domain that has a trust with a
NT 40 domain where the Exchange 5.5 servers reside. Can the 2003 server
still
be a member of the site and transfer all of the Mailboxes and public
folders
still?
I appriciate any input.
