We have a cusomer running Exchange 2003 with the following setup.
1. A primary domain, (domain.com)
2. Several secondary domains (domain2.com, domain3.com)

A user on this site requires the following functionallity.
1. The ability to receive email sent to several domains (user@domain.com,
user@domain2.com user@domain3.com)
2. The ability to choose the "from" address, when sending email, choosing
from one of the above.
4. Mail for domain.com & domain3.com is recieved via SMTP
3. Mail for domain2.com needs to be POPed in from a mailbox located on a
remote system.

What I have done to achieve this:
1. Created recipient policies for all three domains.
2. Created 2 additional users with a primary SMTP address of
user@domain2.com & user@domain3.com
3. Given user the "send on behalf of" right to the two additional users.
4. Instructed the user to type the name of one of the two additional users
in the "from" box to send from a differing email address.
5. Redirected mail sent to user@domain2.com & user@domain3.com to
user@domain.com's mailbox, using delivery options.
6. Used a POP pickup to POP mail down for Domain2.com (The system is
actually running SBS I am using it's POP puller)

OK, so far it all works as expected. The user receivs mail for user@ all
three domains, and can send from all three.

THE PROBLEM:
The cannot send email to other users in domain2.com & domain3.com. Since a
recipient policy exists on this server, if the user tries to send mail to
one of these domains, say from user@domain.com to anotheruser@domain2.com,
it never gets there. Exchange tries to deliver it locally, instead of
sending it out through an SMTP connector. An NDR is generated saying:

"anotheruser@domain2.com on 30/06/2005 12:40 PM
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this
message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient
directly to find out the correct address."

QUESTIONS:
1. How can I fix this?
2. Is there another way entirely that I should be doing this?

Thanks in advance.
