I have a server that now has 18 g of transaction log files and a 5 g store
and I'm running out of space. Is there any safe way to get rid of
transaction logs, since Microsoft says to keep them in case of recovery.

Thanks in advance,

Joe Roode

Transaction logs are purged when you have a successful Exchange aware
backup.

You need to back up your Exchange server ASAP.

Google on Exchange Disaster Recovery Whitepaper (your Exchange version since
you didn't specify)
