I'm trying to register a COM library that implements
IExStoreAsyncEvents.

When I try to do the event registration, I get the following:

C:\etemp>cscript regevent.vbs" ADD "onsave;ondelete"
etest_event_sink.Event_Test
file://./backofficestorage/mycompany.com/mbx/testuser/Inbox/tuevent.eml

Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.6
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1996-2001. All rights reserved.

New Event Binding created:
Event: onsave;ondelete
Sink: etest_event_sink.Event_Test
FullBindingUrl:
file://./backofficestorage/mycompany.com/mbx/testuser/Inbox/tuevent.eml

Error Commiting Transaction : -2141913011 Event Registration failure:
The specified event sink (ProgID: %1) is not allowed to run in-proc.

OK...

Does this mean that my COM class *needs* to run in-proc (and can't)?

Or does it mean that my COM class *is* trying to run in-proc (and isn't
allowed to)?

Hello,

have you created a COM+ application for your component?

Yes. I used the component services manager to register it.
