I have a 60GB Exchange database. Most of it is Videos, MP3's, and Pictures of
Kidds.
How do I scan through everyones mailbox to find these junk emails?
Is there a tool?

We have Exchange 2000 in a cluster. But I can restore to an exchange box
that is off the network and is stand alone.

Thanks
Mike

I'd use a recipient policy (mailbox manager type) and clear out mails
over 2MB in size. That will clear a good amount.
Another option you have is to run an exmerge against the store with
the various parameters set.

I've used exmerge before. What parameters would I use?

There are some advanced properties early on (off behind the main

wizard screens) You can specify what you want to take out there.

For you, I'd stick with the size thing and the recipient policy,
starting at a high MB number and then gradually reduce it so that it
picks up more. Doing an exmerge would be a big bang approach and the
users would notice and go ape.
Pull the stuff out softly and they'll notice less.
