Exchange Migration |

I am currently migrating from Exchange 5.5 to 2003. My primary Exchange 2003
server will be clustered. Since I cannot install the Active Directory
Connector (ADC) on a clustered server, I first installed exchange onto a
stand alone server and joined the existing Exchange 5.5 Organization. I then
installed Exchange 2003 on the cluster into the same organization. I moved
all the mailboxes and public and system folders over. Currently all internal
mail flows into the Exchange 5.5 server and then over to the 2003 cluster
where the mailboxes reside. Outgoing mail flows from 2003 over to 5.5 then
out. I am ready to have all outgoing mail go out through the 2003 server so
that I can take the 5.5 server out of the organization. I will change the MX
record so that all incoming mail will come directly to the 2003 server. I am
also ready to switch the outgoing mail to go out from 2003. I try to run the
Internet Mail Wizard but it does not recognize the Cluster. It sees the ADC
server only. How do I switch my outgoing mail from 5.5 to 2003, on the
cluster? The ADC Server will also come out eventually, so I want to have just
the cluster left, and all mail flowing through it.

You can Do it through ADSI

Hopefully you migrated the Public and System Folders before you
decomissioned it.
