when i use owa and exchange 2k when creating a new mail message is there
somehow a way where i can select a receipient from the contacts items instead
of the GAL

"Find Names In" drop-down box?

There is a drop down box but when you do a find if you enter a persons name
that is in your contacts list it tells me unable to find. but if i enter a
name within the GAL it finds it. go figure huh?

Might be the contact isn't in the same format you're expecting. If you
type something of a wildcard nature do you get some choices or just
nyada?

no same thing. but here's the weird thing i can see my contacts items if i
open one up the is a button on the toolbar that i can click that says send
mail to contact if i click that then it populates the email field.
