"Send as" no longer works |

We run Exchange Server 2003 SP1 on Windows Server 2003 SP1. About two weeks
ago, I set up "send on behalf" and "send as" rights for mailbox A to user B
as described in the article on
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;327000. Since "send
as" overrides "send on behalf", B could send messages that seemed to
originate from A, as was required by both A and B. Now suddenly "send as" no
longer works. The "send as" permission entry seemed to have disappeared (??),
so I added it again, to no avail. Removing the "send on behalf" did not fix
the problem either. There are no entries in the event log that point to the
source of this problem. Anyone any ideas?
