Hi,

I've an application that use CDO 1.2.1 to connect to Exhange 2000 to send
emails. We are in the process of upgrading to Exchange 2003. I would like to
know whether I could still use cdo 1.2.1 (same version I use for E2K) to
access E2K3. Any inputs greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jom.

Yup, that should be fine, the server version won't matter.

Depending on the permissions of the account you are logging in with, you
will probably need to create and register the ProfileDirectory:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=166599

otherwise, it will try to create .mmp files in the WINDOWS folder, and you
might not have permssion to do so.

Also, W2K3 does not have the CDO Renderer (CDOHTML.DLL), although you most
likely aren't using this.

Lee.
