Win 2K3, Exchg 2K3 SP2. I am not an open relay (successfully telnet tested),
yet email is being sent from my IP address that none of us created. How else
could someone covertly use our Exchange server to send email?

Are you sure it is coming from your server?, it could be someone spoofing
your email addresses.
